About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous Health Information Manager to oversee our health information systems, ensuring they meet medical, legal, and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data management and information systems, coupled with a deep respect for confidentiality and adherence to regulatory standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement and manage organizational health information systems.
Ensure all health records and databases are complete, accurate, and secure.
Coordinate the coding and categorization of patient data for reimbursement and research.
Ensure the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with regulations.
Develop and implement health information policies and procedures.
Train staff on health information system procedures and compliance.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in biomedical engineering, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with medical device design, development, and testing.
Exceptional problem-solving and technical skills.
Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
